either the All India Trinamool Congress or the National People’s Party ahead of the 2023 Assembly polls, calling such speculations as wishful thinking of some people.
“Some may be dreaming since I am a national executive member of the BJP and working for the party,” Hek said on Friday.
Talking about the road ahead for the BJP in Meghalaya, Hek said many states are going to the polls and the party leadership is engaged in those states. Once the polls ends in the other states, all focus will be on Meghalaya and the road ahead will be laid out and strategy worked upon, he said.
Hek asserted that the party will contest in as a many seats as possible to increase the tally of their MLAs in the state.
