2nd Div Football: Mynsong guides Nongkrem to 3-1 win

SHILLONG, Jan 31: Samborwell Mynsong scored two second half goals that saw Nongkrem SC stage a dramatic 3-1 victory over Wahingdoh SC in their Shillong Sports Association Second Division football match, here on Monday. Banlumlang Kharsyntiew put Nongkrem in an early 6th minute lead but that was soon cancelled out by Wahingdoh’s Nangiaikara Swer six minutes later before both sides played out the first half with the scores reading 1-1. However, an inspiring second half performance by Samborwell Mynsong (61’ & 69’) ensured Nongkrem finished the game on top. On Tuesday, Jongksha SC play Mylliem SC at 2 pm.
