Unclaimed body
A body of a woman, aged approximately 75 years old, was recovered from a jungle near Shnongrim village by East Jaintia Hills Police on January 23. Following this, the body was taken to Khliehriat CHC for autopsy and other formalities. The police have, meanwhile, asked all family or kin concerned to come forward and identify the body. According to a statement in this regard, the deceased bears a long face and has brown complexion. She is four-feet tall, weighs 20 kg and has a surgical scar on the stomach.
