Four deaths, 157 fresh cases

SHILLONG, Feb 6: The state on Sunday recorded 157 fresh cases of COVID-19 while four more patients succumbed to the viral infection in the past 24 hours taking the death toll to 1,546.
One death was reported from East Khasi Hills, and one each from Ri Bhoi and South West Khasi Hills.
The active tally stands at 1,462 while 89,293 people have recovered from the viral infection including 336 on the day.
69 cases were reported in East Khasi Hills, 41 in West Garo Hills, 13 in Ri Bhoi, 10 in South West Garo Hills, seven in West Jaintia Hills, four in West Khasi Hills, five in South West Khasi Hills, two each in East Jaintia Hills, North Garo Hills, South Garo Hills, and one each in East Garo Hills, Eastern Western Khasi Hills.
