GH groups to hold public rally on Monday

TURA, Feb 10: In growing protest against the appointment of Rakesh A Sangma as the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) CEM, agitating groups from Garo Hills have announced a massive public rally on the premises of the Council on Monday, regardless of the green light from the district administration.
The decision for the rally was taken during a meeting on Thursday.
It may be mentioned that Monday’s protest is expected to see the participation of organisations from across Garo Hills.
