Shillong, Feb 14: The five remaining Congress MLAs, who have been suspended by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) for supporting the ruling MDA coalition, have made it clear that they will not withdraw support to the ruling alliance.

The five MLAs held a closed-door meeting in Shillong on Feb 14 post announcement of suspension by AICC.

CLP leader Ampareen Lyngdoh has refused to divulge the details of the meeting.

While, Congress MLA from Mawlai PT Sawkmie, who attended the meeting, said that they were yet to receive the official communique from the party about their suspension.
