PWD road inaugurated in South Shillong

SHILLONG, Feb 27: A newly constructed PWD feeder road starting Mynsain Forest Road till the Buddhist temple at Upper Lumparing was inaugurated here on Saturday by South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai, a statement issued here said.
The said road has been sanctioned under SPA PWD state scheme 2019-20 at a cost of Rs 1.34 crore.
Speaking as chief guest at the inaugural function, local MLA Sanbor Shullai expressed gratitude to the land owners for donating their land, and also thanked the Dorbar Shnong of Upper Lumparing as well as the PWD.
The project was planned, initiated and recommended by the MLA.
