Welfare clubs get financial aid

SHILLONG, March 25: Three social welfare and cultural clubs have received financial assistance amounting to Rs 50,000 each from local MLA, Sanbor Shullai, to celebrate Rongali Bihu and Borsha Boron Utsav.
According to a statement, the beneficiaries are Shillong Central Rongali Bihu Celebration Committee Lumshatsngi-Kench’s Trace, Shillong Bengalee Student’s Association-H.Q-Laban and Meghdoot Socio & Cultural Club-Lumparing (Mynsain).
