SHILLONG, March 31: Sawmer SC came out on top to defeat Umphyrnai SC 2-0 in their Shillong Sports Association First Division football match, here on Thursday. Both sides headed into the break goalless before Diego Khriam broke the deadlock with a 69th minute conversion. Then in the 90th, Banraplang Nongsteng made it 2-0 to complete a comfortable victory. On Friday, Lawsohtun SC will take on Smit SC at 3:30 pm.
