Meet aims to unite leaders of RBYF

NONGPOH, March 31: In a bid to bring unity among the different generations of leaders of Ri-Bhoi Youth Federation (RBYF) for the good of Ri-Bhoi district, the RBYF on Thursday convened a meeting of its present as well as former leaders for the first time, at Umsning.
Founding general secretary of RBYF, RB Shadap, former presidents and members including FM Mawphniang, CL Masharing, Doris Sulein and BB Makdoh attended the meeting.
Former vice president of the group, Rocky Kylla, chaired the meeting.
The present leaders of RBYF from different units also attended the meeting and brought to light various issues taken up by the RBYF since 1979 when the group was formed.
All leaders of the RBYF expressing their willingness to work together made this meeting successful.
The former presidents of the group and the current leaders have unanimously resolved to strengthen the organisation so as to better serve the people.
