IIM Shillong holds 13th Convocation

Shillong, April 20: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong  today held its 13th convocation  at its new campus at Umsawli here. The convocation ceremony was held at the campus after a gap of two years due to the COVID pandemic.

This year,  268 students have graduated from the institute. Degrees were conferred upon 252 PGP students and 16 PGPEx students while two scholars were conferred with their PhD degree.

Dr Devi Shetty, Padma Bhushan, the Convocation Speaker and founder of Narayana group of hospitals could not be present but delivered his Convocation speech virtually.

In his speech, Dr Shetty said the power of purpose is more important than all the other strategies combined.
