TURA, May 26: It seems for Chetna Bose, success in Board exams has become a habit. After ranking first in her SSLC exams two years ago, Chetna once again placed third in the HSSLC proving that her earlier success was no flash in the pan and she has continued to educate herself as much as has been possible through the pandemic.
“My preparations for the exams were about being thorough and attentive in class. The biggest challenge I faced was of course the pandemic, with classes being infrequent and mostly online. It was all a little overwhelming,” said Chetna.
On the secret to her continued success, Chetna said she believed in not leaving anything till the last moment was helpful as it would only lead to chaos.
The inspiration for her success as per the achiever was definitely her parents. She also thanked her principal and teachers without whom her success would not have been possible.
She also wanted to thank her private tutors who helped pave the way for her success.
On her path hereafter, she said she plans on doing BSc Technology before continuing into research later.
Apart from studies, Chetna loves reading, is a movie buff and loves listening to music.
She stated that her mantra to success has been to study every day and not put off anything to the eleventh hour.
On a very candid note, Chetna hoped that people who came after her should not replicate her success but better it. “They can do that by following their heart. It’s as simple as that,” she felt.
Chetna is the daughter of two Tura-based teachers of private colleges.
