SHILLONG, June 7: Cabinet Minister and senior UDP leader, Lahkmen Rymbui on Monday minced no word while attacking MPCC president Vincent H Pala for his “corruption in UDP-held portfolios” remark and said the Congress leaders has crossed all limits of decency by accusing the UDP instead of introspecting why everyone is leaving the grand old party.
“He (Pala) needs to introspect instead of speaking ‘nonsense’ and acting ‘innocent’,” Rymbui said, while firing a return salvo at Pala by asking him to spell out the policies of his party ahead of the 2023 Assembly polls.
“It looks like the MPCC chief is trying to become the petitioner, the investigating officer, the prosecutor and the judge, all at the same time. (He should) let the people decide,” Rymbui said reacting to the Congress’ decision of compiling a charge sheet against the MDA government.
