NHM delivery staff call off cessation of work

SHILLONG, July 6: The service delivery staff of National Health Mission (NHM) Meghalaya have decided to call off their indefinite cessation of work while reasoning that that their services as essential healthcare providers to the sick and needy are crucial.
Nonetheless, the delivery staff have resolved to said that they would hold an indefinite pen-down strike. In this style of protest, no reports would be submitted by the staff until their matters are resolved by the office of the Mission Director, NHM.
Considering the value of their services to the public, the staff maintained that the general population must not be deprived of their basic rights to avail the services.
