With Myrthong, CM now has five advisers

SHILLONG, July 25: The state government has appointed NPP legislator from Mawshynrut Gigur Myrthong as Adviser to the Chief Minister of Meghalaya with perks and facilities under Category ‘A+’ with effect from July 15.
The notification to this effect was issued by the Secretary, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, on Monday.
With Myrthong’s appointment, the CM now has five advisers, chief among them being DD Lapang, who was appointed in 2018.
Others appointed earlier as adviser to the CM include BJP state president Ernest Mawrie, BJP senior leader AL Hek (both in 2021) and NPP legislator from North Tura Thomas Sangma.
