Free check-up
A free medical camp will be organised at Ponkung, East Khasi Hills, on August 20 by Feedback Energy Distribution Co. Ltd (FEDCO) with the objective of creating awareness and providing basic medical facilities to the people of the region. The medical camp will be held in Pongkung Dorbar Hall from 10 am and doctors with speciality in oral & dental, eye care and general medicine will be available in the camp. The public have been asked to avail the opportunity of getting a free check-up.
Centenary
Laban Bengalee Boys Higher Secondary School, established in the year 1923, will celebrate its centenary this year. On the occasion of Independence Day, the school launched the ‘Centenary Logo’ on Monday.
