Govt set to seal land deal for med college

SHILLONG, Aug 24: The state government is on the verge of finalising the land at New Shillong Township for construction of the Shillong Medical College and Hospital (SMCH), Health Minister James Sangma said on Wednesday.
He said once the paperwork is done, the government will start the process of identifying a new party to take up the project on a public-private-partnership mode.
