SBI branches urged to improve performance

TURA, Sep 2: The meeting of the District Consultative Committee (DCC), South West Garo Hills for the Quarter ended June, 2022 was convened by SBI at Ampati Circuit House on Friday, where SBI branches from the district were urged to improve their services in the interests of public services.
The meeting, chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ampati, A V D Shira, was attended by the lead district officer RBI, A Dey, lead district manager, A L Saha, Director, RSETI, Purna Rabha, DDM, NABARD, branch managers of various banks and district officials of various line departments and agencies, among others.
The meeting reviewed the minutes of the last DCC meeting held in March 2022 and the action taken thereof, it also reviewed CD ratio of the district and the members were informed that the CD ratio of the district was one of the best in the state.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner expressed her disappointment over the performance and services of some of the banks and urged upon the branch managers to improve their performance in the interest of public service and hoped that they would be able to give better report in the next meeting.
