Tourist dies in city

SHILLONG, Sep 24: A 31-year-old man from Orissa, who was holidaying in the state capital, passed away on Friday.
According to police, the man, identified as Sachin Dhoke, was declared brought dead at Shillong Civil Hospital on Friday.
It was informed that the victim and his wife were on a vacation and were staying at Meghalaya Hotel in Quinton Road after their arrival in Shillong on September 23.
According to the wife, Sachin was complaining of uneasiness due to acidity and on reaching the hotel after some time, he collapsed.
He was rushed to Shillong Civil Hospital but was declared brought dead.
