Beneficiaries receive sewing machines in city

SHILLONG, Oct 22: A total of 80 beneficiaries from West Shillong constituency were on Saturday provided sewing machines by local MLA Mohendro Rapsang during a programme here.
Addressing a gathering during the programme, the MLA said that the sewing machines have been distributed in a bid to facilitate earning for the ones in need of the same.
He also informed that another programme has been launched under which women beneficiaries will be provided Rs 5,000 each.
