Conrad tells NPP candidates to take elections seriously

SHILLONG, Oct 27: National president of National People’s Party (NPP) Conrad Sangma has asked all aspiring candidates of the party to take a serious approach to the ensuing Assembly elections.
Sangma, who is also the Chief Minister, said the NPP is ensuring that it selects the right candidates as parties make preparations for polls.
The NPP chief has reminded the party’s candidates not to take opponents for granted or lightly.
