SHILLONG, Nov 3: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Crime Investigation Department on Thursday submitted the incriminating documents and other items seized during the raid on the residential premises of SF-10 Commandant GK Iangrai to the court. The arrested police official, meanwhile, was admitted at the admitted in the undertrial prisoners’ cell at Shillong Civil Hospital.
Iangrai reportedly fell ill after his arrest and was taken to the civil hospital on Wednesday evening.
A source said Iangrai was stable but the doctors would run some tests. He is likely to be discharged in a few days.
According to the source, Iangrai was to be produced before the court by 2:25 pm on Thursday.
