Drugs seized in SWGH

AMPATI, Dec 10: Contraband items worth Rs 1.5 lakh were recovered near Ampati by South West Garo Hills Police on Friday night.
Following a tip-off about a possible drug peddling on Ichaguri-Betasing Road, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) intercepted a motorcycle (AS-34-3138), and the rider identified as one Shakil Miah.
Following a search, the police then recovered the contraband items weighing 79 grams, and subsequently confiscated the same.
