Shillong, Jan 3: Meghalaya lost to domestic heavyweights Madhya Pradesh by 9 wickets in their U-15 Women’s One Day Trophy match in Jaipur on Tuesday.
Sent in to bat first, Meghalaya could manage only 26 runs in 18.1 overs. None of the Meghalaya batters could score in the double scores, with Lasusaitre Suchiang’s 7 as the highest score.
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh chased down the total in 2.4 overs losing the wicket of one of the openers in just the second ball of the innings.
