3 more MLAs quit in poll-bound Meghalaya to join NPP

Shillong, Jan 5:   The ruling NPP in Meghalaya is set to gain as three more legislators in the poll-bound hill state, Hamlet Dohling (Mylliem LAC), Samlin Malngiang (Sohiong LAC) and Jason Sawkmie ( Umsning LAC), today resigned as MLAs. The trio submitted their resignation letters to the Speaker here this afternoon.

All these three legislators (now former MLAs) will join the ruling National People’s Party (NPP) in the next few days, sources informed.

While Hamlet Dohling and Jason Sawkmie are shifting allegiance from the PDF, Samlin Malngiang is leaving the HSPDP  to join the NPP.
