Shillong, Feb 18: The Meghalaya Police (MLP) beat Rangkynsai by 1 wicket in the Shillong Cricket League Super Division match in MCA Polo ground on Saturday. Batting first, Rangkynsai scored 179 all out in 37.2 overs. Rajib Rai (39 runs from 31 balls) and Pynhun Kharnaibi (29 runs from 63 balls) top scored for Rangkynsai, while Pankaj Roy (3/21) and Prakash Uniyal (2/17) were the pick of the bowlers for MLP. In reply, MLP made 180/9 in 38.5 overs. Wallamjohn Lyngdoh top scored with 42 runs from 64 balls, meanwhile, Wallambok Nongkhlaw made 35 runs from 41 balls. For Rangkynsai, Kishan Lyngdoh (3/19) and Rohit Rai (2/38) were top performers with the ball. Nongkhlaw was adjudged the Player of the Match for his all-round performance.
