SHILLONG, Feb 22: Members of the Khasi Jaintia Christian Leaders Forum (KJCLF) have deplored the “mimicry and misuse” of a popular Christian devotional song by an NPP leader and others in Garo Hills. “This insulting and insensitive act calls into question the maturity and integrity of the candidate and his party and it is for the electorates to decide,” the KJCLF said in a statement.
The Forum has appealed to all stakeholders to refrain from insensitive expressions, unfair means, deceptive expressions, and violence.
