Burglary inside eatery in Secretariat Hills, FIR filed

SHILLONG, March 12: A case of burglary has been reported from the city’s most heavily guarded Secretariat Hills.
Toshiba Mawthoh, the owner of Secretariat Cafeteria lodged an FIR at Sadar police station on Sunday evening alleging that miscreants entered her shop through a small opening used as chimney after breaking open a tin door and stole some utensils.
“Inquiry is pending as nearby shops were closed on Sunday. All further necessary legal and forensic formalities have been completed and patrolling has been enhanced. All efforts are being made to trace and nab the culprits,” police said.
