SCL: NFU beat Royals CC

SHILLONG, March 12: In the super division match between NFU and Royals cc, Royals cc won the toss and chose to bat first. They were bowled out for 203/10 with 4 balls to spare. Swastik Chettri made a handy 31 runs off 42 deliveries, while Bipin Ray chipped in with a quick 30 off just 18 balls. Akash and Raj Biswa were the standout performers with ball for NFU, with both taking 2 wickets each. In reply, NFU chased down the total in 39.5 overs losing 8 wickets for 204. Kevin scored a steady 58 off 83 while Kash scored 24 off just 12. Adarsh Joshi took 3 wickets for only 27 runs in 8 overs while Bikash Singha took 1 for 22. As a result NFU won by 8 wicktes and Kevin was awarded the man of the match for his contribution with both bat and ball.
