These 5 models of luxury cars will be launched in India in April

Shillong, April 6: Some of the top brands are set to roll out new models of cars in India this month. The  brands include Suzuki, Mahindra and Mercedes among others.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

The Fronx crossover has begun to arrive at Maruti Suzuki dealerships all over India. Pre-registrations are currently available. Price should be revealed soon.

There will be two engine choices for the Fronx. A 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine that generates 99 BHP and 147 Nm and a 1.2-liter gasoline engine that generates 89 BHP and 113 Nm are two examples of these. Buyers can choose between an AMT, a 6-speed automatic, and a 5-speed manual transmission.

MG Comet EV

The Wuling Air EV is the model for the MG Comet EV. It’s a little 2-door automobile with a tall guy physique. Two battery options are available for the Wuling Air, which is sold all over the world: a 17.3 kWh battery with a 200 km range and a 26.7 kWh battery with a 300 km range. The Indian version’s technical specifications are still a mystery.

Mahindra Thar 4×4 AX AC

Mahindra intends to release a new Thar 4×4 entry-level model. The new model will have four-wheel drive and be significantly more affordable.

According to reports, the new, more basic variant might be dubbed AX AC. Several of the features found in the AX will be absent. It is most likely a four-seater with back seats that face forward. The 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder mStallion petrol engine, which produces 150 BHP and 320 Nm, and the 2.2-liter mHawk diesel, which produces 130 BHP and 320 Nm, will both be available for the new entry-level Thar 4×4. A 6-speed manual transmission is anticipated to be paired with both engines.

Lamborghini Urus S

On April 13, 2023, Lamborghini will introduce the Urus S to India. The revised Urus, known as the Urus S, is placed below the Urus Performante.

The Urus S has a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine under the hood that produces 657 Horsepower and 850 Nm. The engine is coupled with an all-wheel drive system and an 8-speed automated transmission.

 

Mercedes-AMG GT S E-Performance

On April 11, 2023, Mercedes-Benz will introduce the AMG GT 63 S E-Performance in India.

The top-of-the-line plug-in hybrid version of the AMG GT 4-door is the AMG GT 63 S E Performance. It is also AMG’s most potent production vehicle to date.
