Shillong, April 11: Arvind Kejriwal, national convenor of Aam Aadmi, on Tuesday stated that the AAP’s attainment of national party status is nothing short of a “miracle”.

“People’s hopes have evolved into faith in the Aam Aadmi Party. With the blessings of God, we will perform this enormous responsibility that the public has entrusted to us with complete honesty”, Kejriwal said.

The AAP was given national party recognition by the Election Commission on Monday.

To celebrate the accomplishment with party officials and members, Kejriwal went to the party office.

While the AAP battles a formidable national party like the BJP, the Delhi chief minister warned supporters to be prepared to go to jail.

Kejriwal also reminded AAP supporters of the party’s ideology at the time. “Remember that the three foundations of the AAP’s ideology are steadfast honesty, patriotism, and humanity”, Kejriwal stated.
