Delhi school evacuated after bomb threat; police on spot

Shillong, April 12: A school in Delhi received bomb threat after which it was immediately evacuated on Wednesday morning.

As per reports, parents of the students studying in Indian Public School in South Delhi’s Sadiq Nagar were asked to pick up their children. Police received information about a bomb on building’s premises. Reports suggested that school authorities contacted the police at around 10.20 am.

The message by school to parents read, “On account of some unexpected security reasons, we are having to close school early. Kindly arrange to pick up your ward as per details.. School will resume as usual tomorrow.”
