Public asked to follow SOPs for Episcopal Ordination in WKH

NONGSTOIN, April 13: West Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police has appealed to the general public to strictly adhere to the guidelines of the Police Department during the Episcopal Ordination at St. Peter Parish, Pyndengrei, Nongstoin on Sunday.
According to the police, in view of the Episcopal Ordination, vehicles coming from Shillong, Mairang, Shallang, Mawshynrut and Langpih have been directed to enter from FCI Junction, NH 44E.
Similarly, vehicles coming from Mawkyrwat have been directed to proceed towards St. Peter Parish Main Gate.
It also has been suggested to the people residing in and around the Nongstoin area, who will attend the Episcopal Ordination, to avoid the use of vechiles.
The public has also been asked to avoid parking vehicles along the roadside and use the designated parking areas.
Police personnel and volunteers will also be deployed at all important junctions.
