Shillong,April 18 : UDP is upbeat about a win at Sohiong constituency in the byelection as it’s candidate Synshar Kupar Roy Lyngdoh filed hiss Nomination papers at DC office on Tuesday.
UDP president, Metbah Lyngdoh said that there is a massive support for his candidature from the grassroots and it is all heading towards a win.
Cabinet Minister and UDP leader Paul Lyngdoh also said that the party is upbeat and one more seat means growth in strength of the UDP.
Reminding that the party and won 6 seats in 2018 and now has 11 seats he said this win will double their tally which will be a big leap for the party
