CEE to ensure transparency in army recruitment: Official

SHILLONG, April 20: Deputy Director General of HQ Recruiting Zone (North East States), Brig Simerjeet Singh, on Thursday informed that with a view to improve the recruiting system and making it more robust, transparent and simplified, the online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) has been introduced this year.
“Henceforth, the recruitment will be carried out in three stages. In the first stage, all candidates will undergo the online CEE. Thereafter, the shortlisted candidates will be called for recruitment rallies by respective Army Recruitment Offices for Fitness and Measurement Test. Finally, in the third stage, the selected candidates will undergo a medical test. Subsequently, the final merit list will be declared,” he said.
