LPG cylinder price slashed by Rs 171. Know the new price

Shillong, May 1: The government has slashed the price of commercial LPG cylinder (19 Kg) by Rs 171.50 which will be effective from today (May 1).

A 19 Kg commercial LPG cylinder will now be sold in Delhi for Rs 1,856.50 as a result of the change.

A 19 Kg commercial cylinder costs Rs 1,808.50 in Mumbai, whereas it is now only Rs 1,960.50 in Kolkata. With effect from today, the cylinder will cost Rs 2,021.50 in Chennai.

According to Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), a 19 Kg LPG cylinder previously cost Rs 2,028 in Delhi, Rs 2,132 in Kolkata, Rs 1,980 in Mumbai, and Rs 2,192.50 in Chennai.

On April 1, rates were decreased by Rs 91.50 per unit, and as of that day, the cost of petrol cylinders in Delhi was Rs 2,028.

Commercial LPG cylinder prices were increased by Rs. 350.50 and domestic LPG cylinder prices by Rs 50 earlier on March 1.
