Scientific coal mining set to begin in Meghalaya soon

Shillong, May 2: Scientific coal mining is all set to begin in Meghalaya with the Union Government approving mining lease of the four coal miners in the state.

Revealing this today, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that with this the government has overcome the biggest hurdle for the process of scientific mining in the state.
