Three held for peddling drugs

SHILLONG, May 3: The ANTF on Wednesday arrested three persons, including a couple, in connection with two separate cases of drug seizure.
On Wednesday, the ANTF team arrested a drug supplier at Fire Brigade and recovered five soap cases containing heroin weighing 68.08 grams. A scooty was also seized.
Following up on the lead, the team raided a house at Demthring and recovered 10.78 grams of heroin. A search was conducted which led to the recovery of 10 more soap cases of heroin weighing 140.02 grams, taking the total seizure for the day to 218.88 grams. A couple was arrested.
