SHILLONG, June 7: The Meghalaya TMC has urged Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma to intervene and resolve a matter concerning the youths, who would have to choose between their NEHU end-semester examinations and the CUET examination as the dates of the two examinations appear to be clashing.
Taking to Twitter, TMC state vice president George B Lyngdoh re-tweeted a post by a concerned student seeking a change in dates of examination as some of the university exams and the CUET exam fall on the same day.
Lyngdoh requested the Education minister to intervene in the matter and solve the issue.
It is to be noted that after the introduction of CUET, students now have to sit through and clear the CUET exam to get admission into various educational institutions in the country.
