Workshop
Sankardev College, Shillong, in collaboration with SamagraShiksha-State Education Mission Authority of Meghalaya, Education department, will organise a two-day national workshop in preparation to the G20 Janbhagidari Events on ‘The Implementation of NEP 2020 with Special emphasis on the Foundational Literacy & Numeracy under NIPUN – Meghalaya’ on June 13 and 14. The inaugural programme of workshop will be attended by cabinet minister Paul Lyngdoh as the chief guest.
Condolence
Office-bearers and executive members of the Gorkha Secondary School Alumni Association, 3rd Mile, Upper Shillong, have condoled the demise of Uma Gurung, daughter of (L) Lal Bahadur Gurung and (L) Dhan Maya Gurung, a resident of Nongkseh Upper Shillong. Uma passed away 31 in Kathmandu, Nepal, on May. The alumni association also observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed.
Exhibition
The State Level Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition 2022-2023 for schoolchildren will be held at the state headquarters of Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides, Pine Mount Ridge, Shillong, on June 15 and 16, a statement issued here said.
