Schools in NGH to remain closed on Friday

Tura, June 15: School authorities in North Garo Hills have been directed to keep their respective schools closed on Friday, June 16, in view of the prevailing weather conditions.

An order in this regard as per the Disaster Management Act, 2005, was issued by the Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the district DDMA on Thursday.

The order was issued keeping in view the safety and welfare of the students as topmost priority.
