Police vehicle torched in city

SHILLONG, June 26: Police has launched an inquiry into the torching of a police vehicle by unknown miscreants at Mawlai Mawroh on Sunday.
The police gypsy (ML02 0603) was parked at the residential quarters of the Police Training School, Umran.
DGP Lajja Ram Bishnoi on Monday said police have registered a case and are inquiring into the matter.
“We will see after the preliminary inquiry what the probable cause was and who were behind this incident. Those responsible will not be spared,” Bishnoi said.
