Inauguration
The new High Court building will be inaugurated on Saturday, at 12:45 pm at the premises of the Meghalaya High Court, a statement issued here informed. The National Law University, Meghalaya will be inaugurated at 11 am on July 8 at Mayurbhanj Complex, Nongthymmai, Shillong.
Unclaimed body
An unclaimed body of a man identified as Federick Shangpliang, 23, has been lying at the Civil Hospital Morgue since July 4. The person was admitted in the hospital on June 16 and passed away on July 4. Authorities have requested all concerned relatives to collect the body from the morgue of the hospital immediately or within a period of three days with effect from the date of issue of the general notice, failing which the body will be sent for disposal by the Shillong Municipal Board, an official statement issued here on Friday said.
