Tagore death anniv
Rabindranath Tagore admirers of Shillong will pay tribute on the statue of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore at Brookside, Rilbong at 7:30 am and will be followed by another programme at Brookside Bungalow/ Rabindranath Tagore Art Gallery at 3:30 pm, on August 8 to commemorate the 82nd death anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore.
A cultural programme will be organised by Bongiya Sahitya Parishad on it premises on August 12, at 5:30 pm. Guest artiste from Guwahati, Jyoti Prasad Bhattacharya will perform Rabindra Sangeet along with artistes from Shillong.
