Samsung announces live commerce event for Galaxy Z Flip5, Z Fold5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series

Shillong, August 16: Samsung has revealed plans to hold a live commerce event on Wednesday at 12 pm showcasing its fifth-generation foldable devices – Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 – along with the Galaxy Tab S9 series. The event will offer customers who pre-book these devices on Samsung.com special benefits beyond pre-book offers.

As per IANS, during the live commerce event, customers who pre-book the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 will be eligible for a cashback of Rs 8,000. Moreover, pre-booking the Galaxy Z Flip5 could provide an exchange bonus of up to Rs 12,000, and a memory upgrade (purchase 256GB and receive 512GB, a benefit of Rs 10,000). Pre-booking the Galaxy Z Fold5 could offer up to Rs 5,000 exchange bonus in addition to the memory upgrade.

In a statement, the company mentioned that participants in the event will also receive a silicon case ring cover worth Rs 4,199 with the Galaxy Z Flip5 and a free-standing phone case worth Rs 6,299 with the Galaxy Z Fold5.

For those interested in the Galaxy Tab S9, pre-booking during the event could lead to cashback of up to Rs 12,000 and up to Rs 8,000 exchange bonus. Additionally, pre-bookers could enjoy a 50% discount on a keyboard cover.

Samsung highlighted that the Galaxy Z Flip5 offers an enhanced foldable experience with a larger outer screen that is 3.78 times bigger, enhancing usability. The Galaxy Z Fold5, touted as the thinnest and lightest in the Galaxy Z series, promises powerful performance. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S9 boasts Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy.

The Galaxy Z Flip5 starts at Rs 99,999 for the 8/256 GB variant, while the Galaxy Z Fold5 is priced from Rs 154,999 for the 12/256 GB model. The Galaxy Tab S9 starts at Rs 83,999 for the WiFi variant and Rs 96,999 for the 5G variant.
