Angler hooks 26-kg fish, bags Rs 1 lakh prize

JOWAI, Aug 22: In a stroke of luck, or skill, as one may call it, an angler in Ummulong village, West Jaintia Hills, hooked a massive fish weighing 26.5 kg and left all his peers in awe.
This occurred during a fishing competition held at a pond owned by Phim Dkhar in the village.
The man claimed a prize of Rs 1.01 lakh in cash.
