SHILLONG, Aug 22: Acting on specific tip-off, troops of BSF Meghalaya on Tuesday seized sarees worth over Rs 11 lakh from the bordering area of East Khasi Hills.
The consignment was seized by the alert troops of 4 Battalion BSF when the miscreants were trying to smuggle it into Bangladesh. The seized items were handed over to the concerned customs office for further action.
