Tura, Sep 4: MTET passed candidates from Dadenggre in West Garo Hills have expressed their concern over the delay by concerned authorities to put out an advertisement for recruitment of teachers under the Sub-Division.

According to the candidates who came together under the aegis of the MTET Passed Association, other areas like Baghmara, Tura, Ampati, Jaintia Hills, Khasi Hills etc have completed the 1st phase of the recruitment and are preparing for the 2nd phase unlike Dadenggre, which is yet to even put out an advertisement for the 1st phase.

The candidates claimed that as there was no recruitment for the 1st phase in Daddenggre, they had opted to apply in other Sub Divisions but were not allowed as they come from a different Division.

“Recruitment for the 1st batch was completed in other areas in 2020 itself. However, both the 1st batch and 2nd batch are waiting in Dadenggre,” the association claimed.

Pointing out that leaving out MTET passed candidates from Dadenggre during recruitment was an injustice, the association urged the concerned department to necessary steps in this regard.
