Shillong, Sept 21: The NER NCC directorate in a glittering ceremony felicitated the Associated NCC Officers (ANOs) of the entire North East through the Governor of Meghalaya, Phagu Chauhan at the Nagra Auditorium here.
“Just as a class room is incomplete without a teacher and student, the Associated NCC Officers remain the bed rock of the NCC in identifying the raw students and then grooming them into cadets of substance who go on to don the state colours at the Republic Day Parade every year in the national capital Delhi or up hold the nations pride as youth ambassadors in foreign countries, under the NCC Youth Exchange Program.
This awards ceremony was a recognition of the efforts of these distinguished ANOs and of the standards of excellence of the complete Team NER NCC Directorate.
