State awaits Centre’s response on ILP

SHILLONG, Sep 20: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Wednesday said the Centre is examining the demand for ILP in Meghalaya.
The ILP demand, among others, was mentioned in a memorandum submitted to the Prime Minister on August 8.
He said the state has been constantly checking up with the Union Ministry about the status and the implementation of the ILP but there has been no response so far.
